Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what our members say...

I’m convinced that discovering Beth’s Book Club at the start of the lockdown is one of the things that brought me the most happiness throughout quarantine (and after!)

Not only are the book club chats super engaging and insightful, I’ve also made so many lovely friends through it who I chat with almost every day and are just the most wonderful people. Beth and Helen have worked so hard to create the friendliest and most joyful little corner of the internet and I absolutely love being a part of it.

Since joining Beth’s Book Club, I’ve never been more motivated to read! The range of genres and the diversity of authors chosen always keeps me engaged and the twice-monthly chats are lively and thought-provoking. The Members Only section on Beth’s blog is packed with fun extras like the book swap scheme – I’ve been able to exchange multiple titles with my fellow readers and it’s a great way to meet like-minded people. The amount of love and effort that Beth and Hels put into the Club is clear and I’m so proud to be a part of it!

Beth’s Book Club has had me fall in love with reading all over again. The community she’s created is amazing and the Sunday Facebook chats are the highlight of my week – just wish we had more time to read and there was one every week! It’s so nice becoming familiar with names and faces during Zoom quizzes/events, thank you for bringing me lots of new friends!

I would never have even started a bookstagram account without Beth’s Book Club. This amazing group has introduced me to so many wonderful, diverse reads, and I’ve made so many friends on here since. The group was a lifesaver during the first lockdown, especially the book chats!

I love this book club! They helped me reignite my love of reading with such diverse and wide ranging reads and made me want to start this bookstagram. I’ve made some really lovely friends through the book club too.

Joining Beth’s Book Club early last year was one of the best things to come out of 2020. I have met the most amazing people, read so many books I wouldn’t normally and had lots of fun experiences like workshops and live Q&As with authors. I could not recommend the community and group enough & Beth and Hels are pretty cool too

About Beth's book club...

Beth’s Book Club was founded in early 2019 in the back of a campervan in Australia. I was backpacking, attached to my trusty kindle and craving a community to chat to about what I was reading. Over the last few years the book club has evolved into something I’m incredibly proud of; a gorgeous community of thousands of women reading together all around the world. We set about creating a platform that would offer our members plenty of community, fun, learning and self-care opportunities. My favourite thing is that every month without fail, someone says "I'd never have picked up this book, but I loved it!"

Beth & Hels

We are Beth and Hels and we run Beth’s Book Club. We live in Oxfordshire and South London and between us we have four small children, approximately 300 books and an unhealthy dependency on tea and biscuits. Beth has a background in social media and content creation whilst Hels is a journalism grad and copywriting whizz. We both love musical theatre, going for brunch and exchanging gifs on whatsapp in the small hours. We met when Hels volunteered to help me run the book club in its real infancy. A few years later, she’s my BFF, an invaluable coworker and Godmother to my child! Hels’ favourite books are The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (Taylor Jenkins-Reid) and I Am Pilgrim (Terry Hayes) whilst Beth loves The Nightingale (Kristin Hannah) and Where The Crawdads Sing (Delia Owens).
